The SM50 gun lube lubricant is for high velocity moving parts inside an air gun such as the compression chambers and firing pins as within these areas are alot of friction. The gun lube provides smooth actions and improves performance. Also the lube does not evaporate like other oils making it a great rust inhibitor.
